Angelina Jolie's father couldn't be happier that his daughter and Brad Pitt are finally engaged and exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that when she's happy, he's happy, but exclusively tells RadarOnline.com: No more kids!
“Of course I love my daughter deeply and her happiness is my happiness as it is with all parents," Jon Voight told us Sunday night at the Public Consul event honoring his friend and Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
"We love our children and we are happy when they are happy.”
And Jon is thankful that he and Angelina have reconciled so he can watch his six grandchildren grow up.
“I love kids," Jon told RadarOnline.com on Sunday night at the Public Counsel event at the Beverly Hilton, when we asked if Angelina Jolie and Brad will have more kids.
“[But] I don’t think so…six is quite a group you know!”
“I think because parents are with them on a daily basis they may not see the changes as dramatic as a grandparent does but they live through every change," Jon said.
“You don’t see them for a little while and then they have different growth spurts and develop different enthusiasms and you hear them talking."
The proud grandfather couldn't hold back, spilling stories about his grandchildren.
“Just playing with the children you find out about them and what their interest are. I was playing with one of the twins putting rocks in a pail and then they put some leaves from the tree into the pail and said that is for the caterpillars," he recalled.
“And that’s a little baby understanding certain things. And you say what is that mind going to do? That is interesting."

When Jon Voight, 73, learned that his daughter, 36, is engaged to love of seven years Brad Pitt, he was just as surprised as the rest of the world.
"It was very nice I thought. If they are happy -- if they're going to have a wedding -- it's wonderful," Voight told Us Weekly at the Public Counsel's 2012 William O. Douglas Dinner in Beverly Hills Sunday. "Of course, they're the parents of six kids. They've been that way for a while."
Voight said that neither Jolie nor Pitt, 48, have revealed any details about their big day. "They haven't given me any insight into that. I can't really trust what people say," he explained. "The newspapers and magazines seem to go their own way, and so I have to get it from Angie."
The Deliverance actor added: "I've seen her recently and we've had a great time, but we haven't talked about that."
Voight told Us that he's astounded by his daughter's ability to balance being a devoted mother, award-winning actress and tireless humanitarian.
"She's one of those people that can do many things at once and has many passions," he gushed. "She is a remarkable actress and then she's lovely with her children. I always get a great deal of joy when I'm with her and her children. I see the way she takes care of six children at the same time . . . and it's a lot of fun. She's a lot of fun with them."

Champagne Suggestions For Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Engagement Celebration
Congratulations to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie-–getting
engaged calls for a glass of bubbly—well, every day calls for a glass
of bubbly if you’re living life the right way. But Brand and Angie,
after seven years together and six kids should raise a glass of
something special to each other. Indeed, such a big moment calls for
the real thing: Champagne.
Why Champagne over say a nice Cava or sparkling wine from California?
With a history spanning well over 300 years, Champagne has good reason
for its stature as the drink of kings in the beverage world. The
French, having invented and mastered the process are rightly territorial
about the whole business. Indeed the actual process for making
Champagne is referred to as méthode champenoise. Anyone can make sparkling wine in the méthode champenoise (which is now termed méthode traditionnelle)
style, but unless the grapes hail from the precisely outlined Champagne
region of France, the wine must be simply called sparkling wine. Some
vintners even note on their bottles “made in the méthode champenoise
style” but only the French can call such a thing Champagne.
As is often the case with France, there are a few more rules regarding the production of true Champagne. The wines must be crafted only from the Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier or Chardonnay grapes grown in the region. The fermentation process must occur twice: once in barrels and again in bottles. Really a fair bit of fuss over bubbles, but many will agree there is something evanescent and enigmatic about Champagne.
