Brad's team's press release regarding their Paris trip was widely circulated -- no publication could claim it as an exclusive.  People got it at the same time as everyone else.  

The Brad + Ines birthday junket had paparazzi coverage of their exit from the secluded CDG VIP Terminal, their arrival at Théâtre du Châtelet, and their departure from Mother Wolf in L.A. 

The delivery of silver balloons with "6" and "0" to "a luxury hotel in Paris off the Champs-Elysees" served to suggest that they were celebrating inside but they were never photographed in, entering, or leaving the hotel.

Their only other appearance in Paris was when they arrived at "a folk-rock concert by Asaf Avidan at the Théâtre du Châtelet." But they "were not spotted by onlookers and managed to remain incognito" despite being snapped by paparazzi entering.

The only thing we can be sure of is they left the CDG VIP Terminal and entered the Theater together.  There is nothing to support the rest of the press release.  Paris seems to have been chosen simply for headline ("the City of Love!").

Nikki Reed posted a greeting in her Instagram stories but the accompanying photo appears to have been from last year's celebration.  She did not make any allusion to Brad or the birthday dinner. 

Reed was exceedingly circumspect.  An avid photographer and an active supporter of @leicacamerausa, she searched for a year-old photo when there were undoubtedly numerous photos taken that evening.  Ines' guests were evidently asked not to talk or post about the dinner.  They wanted the public story to strictly come from the press releases.  This suggests the behind-the-scenes may not reinforce the public story otherwise they should be fine with people talking and posting photos.


Brad turning 60 was only briefly addressed in a belated People post.  They kept all other personal info and mention of the kids and family out of all the press releases.

The first source quoted in People's belated report on Brad at 60 appears to be a Sr. member of his team.  The quotes were very careful and correct and didn't offer anything attention-grabbing, but in what was an acknowledgment of the source's credibility, they were used as the headline over the other sources' more clickbaity info.

On how the Oscar winner feels turning 60, the source says, "Look, he's Brad Pitt. He's handsome, intelligent, famous and free. In his place, I'd be happy at any age."
Each carefully worded sentence avoids anything that could later be revealed as a lie.  The source did not say anything about the birthday activities.  It was People who referred to Ines as his "girlfriend." The conditional “when they’re together” suggests they are not together very often.

The source skirts the question of how Brad feels at 60 -- on the surface, a very simple question.  "Handsome, intelligent, famous" are static even when he is dealing with a low-grade depression.

"Free" sticks out.

Free is not his legal status.  Not single, free.  For "the past few years," he was not free, but now he is -- free, more at ease, and more relaxed.  But not yet ready to publicly declare that he is happy.

What impinged on his freedom -- their freedom -- were the safeguards they agreed to.  They were not free.  They had walked through the fire and are now free.  But they are still holding back from opening up about it.  They are not yet totally free.  Only when they can all publicly appear together can they declare that they are happy and free.

Thomas Houseago could be the person with a red cap walking with Brad.  They had their arms around each other with Brad leaning against Houseago.  



Brad is a hugger with his friends.  With Ines, it's like he's practicing early COVID protocols.  The tabloids have resorted to embellishing whenever a photo offers the slightest possibility of contact.


Nothing has changed from last year.  Nothing publicly. There may be another announced trip to Cabo or similar.

In Page Six’s roundup of the blurry paparazzi photos, they included a few in which Pitt can be seen hugging another “mystery woman” goodbye. This woman “seemingly attended the celebration, too,” the outlet reports. Who is she?
To me, she looks exactly like Nikki Reed, an actress who starred in the Twilight movies. Reed is currently married to Ian Somerhalder, who starred on The Vampire Diaries with Wesley (de Ramon’s ex). Yes, Twilight and The Vampire Diaries are both about vampires. Incidentally, Wesley and Somerhalder own a bourbon company together called Brothers Bond Bourbon that Reed helped fund.
What was Reed doing at Pitt’s birthday dinner? A quick visit to her Instagram suggests the dinner was not for Pitt at all. She posted a story yesterday in which she bragged about printing out photos of her good friend de Ramon for HER birthday dinner.

Sixty is looking good for Brad Pitt.

After the Babylon actor's recent 60th birthday celebrations, a source tells PEOPLE that he "seems more relaxed than before."

"He's certainly more at ease than he has been in the past few years," the source continues, adding that Pitt and girlfriend Ines de Ramon "seem very comfortable when they're together."

On how the Oscar winner feels turning 60, the source says, "Look, he's Brad Pitt. He's handsome, intelligent, famous and free. In his place, I'd be happy at any age."

De Ramon has been by his side over the past week, as the two marked their respective back-to-back birthdays (his 60th on Monday, her 34th on Tuesday).

Their celebratory time together kicked off with a long weekend at a luxury hotel in Paris off the Champs-Elysees, which another source tells PEOPLE was a surprise for Pitt.

For the whirlwind trip, Pitt and de Ramon hopped on commercial flight to Paris and spent most of the time in their hotel, ordering "a lot of room service," adds the source. "Brad went in not knowing what to expect," says the latter source, adding that the couple appeared "extremely excited and giddy together."

And at the Théâtre du Châtelet, where they attended a folk-rock concert by Asaf Avidan, Pitt and de Ramon "were not spotted by onlookers and managed to remain incognito, which was very shocking," the source adds.




Brad Pitt and girlfriend Ines de Ramon celebrated his 60th birthday in the City of Love!

Just ahead of the actor's Los Angeles shindig Tuesday night, the couple spent multiple days in Paris.

Following an arrival at Charles De Gaulle Airport over the weekend, Pitt and de Ramon — who also celebrated a birthday this week, turning 34 on Tuesday — spent Sunday at their luxury Paris hotel off the Champs-Elysees. Balloons were seen arriving to the hotel (including some "60" varieties!) on Monday, Pitt's actual birthday, before the pair ventured out for a day of fun together.

After enjoying a meal prepared by a chef at a private apartment, the Academy Award winner and his jewelry-designer girlfriend of one year attended a folk-rock concert by Asaf Avidan at the Théâtre du Châtelet, according to a source.

Back stateside, it was a busy Tuesday for the couple, as they were snapped that evening at a party held in Pitt's honor at Mother Wolf in Los Angeles, with close friends in attendance, a source told PEOPLE.

Attendees were spotted holding various pieces of artwork while leaving the celebration — one guest was seen carrying a large photo of Pitt and de Ramon making funny faces at the camera. Pitt, who is also an artist, was photographed holding a piece of artwork featuring two wolves.

Pitt's bold — and we mean bold — black-and-gold shirt had all eyes on him. The western-inspired button-down top featured a large gold floral and vine design.

The black and gold shirt could very possibly be a custom piece from God's True Cashmere, the brand that Pitt is a cofounder of. The luxury brand has a limited collection with artist Thomas Houseago (who was also spotted at Pitt's party), that includes painted shirts similar to the one Pitt wore for his birthday. While the actor's exact number isn't available online for sale, similar ones are retailing for $6K, and we think it could be possible the brand and the artist made a special piece for Pitt for his big day.

PEOPLE learned on Pitt's birthday Monday that the actor would be celebrating with a "low key" week, which would include laid-back plans with de Ramon and friends.

The Oscar winner — who turned heads in a bold Western-style gold-embellished shirt — was also joined by pals and business associates, including British artist Thomas Houseago.

Earlier this week, Pitt and Ramon jetted off to Paris for a romantic getaway and stayed at a five-star luxury hotel from Dec. 17 to Dec 19. Birthday balloons were seen arriving to the hotel when he marked his big birthday on Dec. 18. They later dined with the help of a private chef and watched folk-rock singer Asaf Avidan perform at a concert at Théâtre du Châtelet.

De Ramon’s family is from Madrid, Spain, but she grew up in a posh Swiss home on the shores of Lake Geneva, where her father reportedly works in finance.

De Ramon speaks French, English, German and Italian, and a Swiss blogger reported that friends of de Ramon at her Geneva high school, Calvin College, said she was “among the most popular girls at the school.”

“He’s known her for awhile as a friend,” a source close to Pitt told The Post in December 2022. “He’s spent time with her before. She’s someone he knows and trusts and feels safe with.”

Brad Pitt is ringing in a new decade with his girlfriend by his side! Before the actor turned 60 on Dec. 18, he and Ines de Ramon jetted off to Paris to celebrate the milestone.

The quick three-day trip included a stay at a 5-star hotel, where 60 birthday balloons were seen arriving on Pitt's special day. The couple marked the occasion with a meal from a private chef, before taking in Asaf Avidan's concert at Théatre du Chatelet.

As they arrived at the concert around 8 p.m., Pitt and de Ramon were smiling, with the actor resting his hand on his girlfriend's back. They departed the show around 10:30 p.m., and headed back to the hotel.

The next morning, they departed Paris via private jet.



Brad Pitt's 60th birthday was one for the books.

About the Oscar winner's celebration at Mother Wolf in Los Angeles Tuesday night, a source tells PEOPLE he had a smaller party in one of the private rooms, and that "there weren't any other celebrities" at the laid-back affair.

"Brad was in a good mood and friendly with staff," the source continues, adding that his girlfriend Ines de Ramon "was affectionate with him [and] put her hands on him." Also, "the room was decorated with balloons."

According to an onlooker, guests (about 30 in total) began arriving to the restaurant around 8 p.m., and started to depart about four hours later.

The onlooker tells PEOPLE Pitt "looked super happy and kept close to Ines when exiting."

As for de Ramon, "She stopped and spoke to friends with Brad by her side," they add.

"His smile kinda says it all," the onlooker notes of Pitt. "Literally it looked like everyone had a smile on their faces as they exited."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt started celebrations for their twins Knox and Vivienne‘s eighth birthday by taking them out for breakfast at The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood, Calif. on Tuesday morning (July 12) .
Knox reportedly ordered Oreo-filled pancakes with whipped cream and powdered sugar for his birthday treat, according to TMZ.
After filling up at breakfast, the four of them were all spotted going shopping at a local Rite-Aid together.

Angelina Jolie Celebrates With ‘Maleficent’ Birthday Cake in China





Angelina Jolie made her first visit to mainland China this week, with a trip to Shanghai ahead of the release of Disney fantasy “Maleficent.”
She attended a press conference and handlers made sure to have her pose against the city’s iconic skyline. She was also surprised with a “Maleficent”-themed cake and serenaded with “Happy Birthday” in Chinese.

Jolie is considered a major star in China, with Chinese audiences having previously had theatrical access to Jolie-starring titles including “Tomb Raider,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” and “Wanted.” Her previous Oscar win and high profile charity activities mean that she is a regular face in the Chinese media. And bringing Brad Pitt along as arm candy did no harm.

How Did Angelina Jolie Celebrate Her Birthday?

In case you forgot, Angelina Jolie turned the big 3-7 on Monday, and we're guessing she went all out, right?

How can such a high-profile celeb not celebrate her birthday in a lavish fashion, especially with a hubby-to-be like Brad Pitt on her arm?

The possibilities are endless—romantic dinner followed by a helicopter ride, a private getaway, one blowout party with a couple thousand of their closest friends...

So what did they do?
None of the above.
 
Instead, Jolie and the family enjoyed a quiet and intimate celebration at the luxury of their own home.
"Angelina and Brad did not leave the house, they just stayed at home," a source tells E! News. "They were in with the kids. They have been very low-key and not going out as much as previous weeks. Angelina has been very busy on the set with her new film so she has been spending time at home with the kids whenever she is not working."
We think that sounds like the perfect time.

The event took place on June 4 at her rented Wentworth Estate mansion in Surrey, England, which reportedly costs $24,000 a month to rent.
A source told Us Weekly: "It was a very small bash - just the family at home. They didn't go out or do anything.
"Just a simple one at home with a cake. No frills, but they're all really happy at the moment. Everyone's doing good."
She is currently in England preparing for her role in Disney's 'Maleficent', based on the villain from 'Sleeping Beauty'.
Brad, meanwhile, will return to Budapest around June 20 to begin two weeks of reshooting for 'World War Z'.
While he is away filming the movie, an insider told the publication that their children Maddox, 10, Pax 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3 will stay in the United Kingdom.
They said: "The kids will stay back in the UK with Angelina."

We would hate to be Brad Pitt right now.
Actually, that's not true, but it's gotta be tough to try and figure out what to get Angelina Jolie for her 37th birthday today (besides handmade cards from the kiddos, of course).
And as for Jolie's last year, well, where do we start?


Let's face it—there are about a gazillion things we could list right now, so let's just stick to the basics.
Besides being one of the most well-known names in Hollywood, the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador continues her humanitarian efforts across the globe, most recently by joining forces with Britain's foreign secretary William Hague in London to help launch an initiative to combat sexual violence overseas.
And although Pitt's lady did quite the job as director for In the Land of Blood and Honey, Jolie will return in front of the camera for her latest project Maleficent, which will recreate the Disney classic Sleeping Beauty. Oh, and she'll be the wicked fairy.
Obvs, we saved the biggest update for last—she's engaged! Yep, Brad finally put a ring on it and we couldn't be more excited!
Angelina sure has a long list of reasons to celebrate on her special day.
