At the opening night of the Women in the World Summit hosted, IMF head Christine Lagarde, Tina Brown and Angelina Jolie were spotted.

Holding a glass of red wine, Angelina Jolie was chatting about "real crises women face around the world," as she put it, at a dinner held at Lincoln Center on Thursday. "I'm here to support extraordinary women," she said.

She is certainly used to causing commotion wherever she goes.
So while it looked like a scene of chaos as Angelina Jolie made her way to the airport today, the star probably didn’t bat an eyelid.
She was swarmed by a throng of fans and photographers as she stepped into an SUV after checking out of her hotel in New York City.

The 36-year-old was joined by son Pax as the pair got ready to fly to New Orleans to meet up with the rest of their brood.
Mischievous Pax, eight, put on a display for the cameras as he showed off a large purple teddy bear, much to the amusement of his mother.
Angelina’s beau Brad Pitt, 48, is currently in New Orleans evaluating progress in his quest to build 150 storm resistant affordable family homes in the Lower Ninth Ward, which was left devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2008.

Brad was joined on his stroll around the Louisiana neighbourhood by chat show favourite Ellen Degeneres.
And Ellen is not the only celebrity lending a helping hand as Brad does his bit for the community.
The Moneyball star has enlisted Kanye West, Rihanna, Sheryl Crow, and Snoop Dogg to perform at his Make It Right Foundation fundraiser this weekend.

Meanwhile it is rumoured that Angelina will star in the new upcoming Disney film Maleficent.
The actress expressed her desire to be in the film whilst promoting her directorial In The Land Of Blood and Honey in Berlin.
Dakota Fanning's sister Elle, 13, is also said to be in talks with Disney to play the role of Princess Aurora, according to Deadline.
