“Her kids are volunteering around the state, asking for what’s needed and jumping in," a source close to Jolie says Monday, Jan. 13. "She went to see the firefighters at the Rose Bowl and is close to the team at World Central Kitchen," which the source says Jolie first connected with while visiting Ukraine in May 2022.

"Overall she is trying to listen and follow and not get in anyone’s way," the source says of Jolie's efforts to help those affected by the wildfires, which began on Jan. 7. "She knows what’s important is to bring supplies and donate and fall in line. She isn’t posting or announcing efforts. Just trying to listen and learn.”

Just "a source" not a source "close to Jolie."  Who would "they" be?



A source tells PEOPLE that the actress, 49, has opened her home to friends who had to evacuate the Los Angeles area this week.

"Angie is heartbroken for those who have lost their homes, or are impacted by the fires," the source says.

"She's doing everything she can to help, even opening her home to friends who were forced to evacuate," they add.

In video exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, the Maria star said she was concerned about the fires and added: 'We're having people at our house.'

When asked if she planned to donate towards fire relief efforts, she said: 'Yeah I will, right now I'm taking care of people close to me and having them at my house.'

It's funny to have a "World Premiere" after they've already had several red carpet "gala screenings" which were premieres in every sense but name.   They then have to head back to Europe for the opening of the Locarno Film Festival on Aug. 3.  It seems reversing the order might have made more logistical sense but this is apparently what fit in with Brad's preferred schedule.  Paris and Rome in mid July, hanging out in Europe until the end of July before heading back to L.A. --- or also Angelina's Without Blood and Spelman send off for incoming Freshman students.

Trivia: Regency Village Theater used to be known as Mann Village Theater -- where Mr. and Mrs. (as Brad referred to it in conversation with David Leitch in a Paris video store) premiered 17 years ago.
