Brad Pitt’s favorite cashmere brand? Exclusive interview with American designer Sat Hari, co-founder of God's Ture Cashmere: "We share a love for cashmere and everything soft." "Vogue" Hong Kong talks to American designer Sat Hari, co-founder of God's Ture Cashmere brand.

Now, on the occasion of God's Ture Cashmere being introduced to Hong Kong for the first time by the legendary local boutique Joyce, "Vogue" Hong Kong and Sat Hari had a conversation to talk about the design inspiration and concept behind the series, and to understand the brand's story and the designer's fashion point of view.

What has an important influence on the brand’s design style and aesthetics? What role does Brad Pitt play in the brand? What important impact does he have on brand philosophy and values?
Brad Pitt is my brand partner and co-designer of the collection. He also added tremendous energy to the design process, helping us push the boundaries of color and design. He has seen a lot in life, so he has the energy to try new things and expand our creative process. Beyond the creative process, if you’ve read the brand’s story, you’ll know that’s how the company was founded because of our shared love of cashmere and all things soft.

The Manhattan property where Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat lived and worked will be taken over by actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie.

The deal for the property, located at 57 Great Jones Street, was confirmed today by John Roesch and Garrett Kelly, both directors at the real estate agency Meridian Capital Group. Jolie will rent the space for her latest creative venture, Atelier Jolie, under long-term commercial use for eight years.

The interior space features 6,600 square feet of space across three floors. The exterior of the building is adorned in street art, and Jolie will keep it that way as a public tribute to Basquiat, who started his career as one half of the graffiti art duo SAMO.

“[Jolie] wanted to preserve the older art on [the building] and keep that Basquiat feel to the space,” said Roesch.

“She loved the facade of the building and it being tagged up with the street art as a memorial for Basquiat,” Kelly added.

Basquiat rented the second-floor space from Warhol shortly after they first met. Warhol originally bought the building in 1970.

Prior to Warhol’s purchase, the property already had a rich history. Originally constructed in the 1860s, it was purchased by Paolo Antonio Vaccarelli—aka the gangster Paul Kelly—who opened the Brighton Athletic Club there in 1904. The building was subsequently used as a metal works business and kitchen supply company until 1970. Most recently, the property was home to the exclusive Japanese restaurant Bohemian.

Atelier Jolie will serve as a workshop opportunity for under-represented tailors and artisans around the world. Those participating will be able to work and showcase their creations at the 57 Great Jones Street location.

Jolie plans to open her new business “as quickly as possible,” according to Roesch.

The property was previously on the market with Meridian Capital Group for $60,000 per month for a minimum of 10 years.

Yes, LOL that some people are so clueless including but not limited to those who note the change and state without irony that he's aging backwards. But even from the likes of the dailymail there are a lot of hints that he had help.   From dermatologist(s) if not necessarily a plastic surgeon.

He's about the same weight as he was when he won his Oscar in 2020 but his face now is tighter, less craggy, his jawline less saggy and that simply does not happen naturally esp. at his age.

The difference was obvious in his appearance at this year's Cesar where he was front and center giving David Fincher an award. The photos from Tourtour are lo-res and grainy and much of his wrinkles are around the eyes which were covered.

I don't think there is anything wrong with getting help. He's an actor and his face is his asset he will want to take care of.  Whoever helped him did a good job.  Some of the procedures Angelina's dermatologist talks about below could already account for improvement in Brad's appearance.

dm
Laura Kay, cosmetics specialist and founder of Laura Kay London, told FEMAIL the Oscar Award-winning actor's young appearance can be explained by a combination of a good skin maintenance programme, plus a few procedures here and there.

She said: 'Brad appears to have very subtly invested in some 'tweakments' to retain a youthful appearance.

'He has reduced fine lines today and his skin is dewy and fresh. Therefore he may have has botox to reduce wrinkles and face peels will help to rejuvenate his skin.

'He could also have focused on certain areas including the neck, jowls and his hairline/hair that are very noticeable signs of ageing – and with a skilled practitioner people will hardly notice the difference, yet it will look transformative.'

Men are also booking in for botox, fillers, face peels, brow treatments and hairline work, to name a few.'

Angelina gave her dermatologist, Dr. Rhonda Rand, a plug a few years back:
Angelina Jolie revealed the identity of her life-long dermatologist, Dr. Rhonda Rand, in an interview with InStyle back in March, but now Refinery29 caught up with the doctor to learn more about Jolie's anti-aging secrets.

“It’s who my mother brought me to when I was little with my first scar,” Jolie told Instyle of Rand. “To have somebody who is very encouraging of being as natural as possible has really helped me, I think.”

With Jolie's permission, Rand spoke to Refinery29 about the actress's minimalist skincare routine, her favorite in-office treatments, and how early menopause has impacted her skin.

"She’s always been such a natural beauty, so she didn’t ever have to do much. It was really just sunscreen, proper cleansing with a mild, gentle cleanser, antioxidants, sometimes glycolic [acids], and natural products. Some alpha hydroxy [acids] are good too, and they’re very natural. She doesn’t need major scrubs or products with lots of chemicals," Rand told Refinery29.

When Jolie travels—which she does often—she takes along the Dermbasics RR Perfection Cream from Rand's line Dermbasics. "It’s a chemical-free antioxidant sunscreen and that’s a good thing to travel with," she says. "We also have another product she likes and takes with her: Dermbasics Glycolic Acid Pads 20%. They remove the stratum corneum, increase collagen and elastin, keep pores clean and appearing small, and even out discoloration."

When Jolie visits Rand's office for treatments, their main goal is to reduce pigmentation from the sun. "When I got pregnant, I had darker areas [on my face] that got darker. So I do IPL [intense pulsed light] every once in a while," Jolie told InStyle. Rand added that she does light laser resurfacing in addition to IPL. "[Laser resurfacing is] used to improve your skin and give it a little bit of a glow, but it’s a little more than a facial...And sometimes, when she’s in very sunny climates working, she can get some pigmentation, too. We can help take care of that with a photofacial or Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). We’re super careful. None of these things change the quality of your skin or cause scarring," she notes.

"planning to buy a house in Europe."  "moving in with him there."
Of course he doesn't yet have a house in Europe.  And of course gossip sites would get an advance exclusive on his personal plans.

Continuing with Brad's dating via press release, the first and only update in months is a submission to Deuxmoi (notably not to People).  Photos or sightings would have been far more effective -- but then they would have to actually be together.  Planting a story is far less work.

"Another update that I received that I was actually quite shocked about.  I can't give that much information until I get the green light.  Apparently Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon are getting really serious.  I had thought they broke up because we weren't hearing anything about them.  But I just received a message this morning things are getting serious.  And I have to say I was pretty surprised to hear it.  So keep your eye out for that one."

"There's this sighting that was sent in via email. I think it's interesting because I never really bought this relationship. Let me read you this sighting: 'I saw Brad Pitt at ____ in Santa Barbara yesterday. He was with a brunette. They pulled up in a motorcycle early in the a.m, ordered two burritos and left. The woman definitely did not look like his rumored girlfriend Ines de Ramon. I don't know if they're just friends but they seemed very comfortable with each other and were laughing.'"

"I just don't think it was as serious as the media portrayed.  This could come down to someone's publicist.  Maybe they were portraying it as more serious for Brad's benefit because he is going through all the controversy with Angelina and his children and they were actively working to repair his image, when you look at the Bullet Train PR and all that stuff. Maybe it was made to be more serious when it was really casual."

A few days ago

The public is discerning.  There are many reasons for skepticism.  Normally, the public would see the blossoming romance first.  Here, the cart has always been before the horse.  In their handful of public outings there has been no sign of affection or intimacy.  Instead, they've been spoon-feeding info such as the story they gave People of a Babylon after-party romantic outing that no other attendee witnessed or had photos of.  Despite not being seen together for months, they now want it known that the relationship is "serious."  On top of the fact they have very little in common, the obvious promotion only serves to further feed skepticism.  In a real relationship they would be happy to keep things under the radar.

They have always kept things locked down tight.

No one knew they were engaged until Angelina was seen with an engagement ring and reporters from THR et al pressed them  They did not reveal they were married in Miraval until a week later when they were already settled in a secluded area in Malta.  No one knew before Sept., 2016 that they were actually legally married in L.A. two weeks before the Miraval ceremony (officiated by Judge John Ouderkirk).

Brad probably has a health therapist / consultant among his team of therapists -- if not necessarily Inez.  The promo photo for The Gardener Gin looks to have been taken at the same time as the Le Domaine launch.  Is he obligated to partner with the Perrins in every endeavor they think of?  A skin care line was a head scratcher but gin for a recovered alcoholic just seems bone headed no matter what the sales pitch to him was. On the other hand, the possibility that Angelina could be dating a billionaire environmentalist had a lot of people excited.  That pairing made sense and many wished it were true.  But that is not what their words and actions point to.

So the obvious question is why are they feeding this information and why now?

Babylon is done.  Wolfs should be in post-production,  the Formula One film has yet to start.

There is progress in the FBI FOIA front and maybe nearing completion.  A diversion?  Why would one be necessary?

The brunette who "definitely did not look like" de Ramon -- Alia Shawkat?

The PR campaign is in very high gear right now.  Unusual when he doesn't have a film coming out.
