What is most notable about this press release are the words they instructed the writer to use and the words they did not want in the article:  "separated" no divorce, "then-partner" no ex- , no disputes, no wrangling.  While not giving the whole truth, it avoids repeating the lies or what they euphemistically call the false narrative.  That is pretty much what they do in their interviews.  Vague and cryptic but not a lie -- they leave that to the lawyers propping up the false narrative.

Champagne, the French say, is a measure of grapes, soil, time and love. In Brad Pitt's case, you can add a touch of rosé.

Having successfully launched Fleur de Miraval (the only maison in France dedicated exclusively to rosé champagne) three years ago, the actor and his partners are releasing a surprising new bottle this fall: Petite Fleur (translating to "little flower").

It carries a pink shade and fresh notes of spring flowers, which have become the house signature.

Equally familiar to the house's previous releases, Petite Fleur is a limited brut blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Cote de Blancs chalk-rich soil, specifically the fields around Mesnil-sur-Oger, France and Pinot Noir from the neighboring village of Vertus.

However, Petite Fleur differs in several ways from its highly praised big sister, Fleur de Miraval. It varies in the way it is made, and is intended to reflect a more classic champagne. It's also planned to be a more "accessible" wine in both price and appeal.

Twenty thousand bottles will be available worldwide in October with an expected price tag under $100 per bottle. (In comparison to other champagnes of its type, that's a relatively petite price.)

"Brad is very hands on," a source tells PEOPLE. "He has built a successful wine business with the rosé for a decade and now, 500 miles away, he's building a champagne house — a real champagne house, not just his name on a bottle."

"He has a vision," adds the source, "and loves seeing it evolve and sharing it."

In 2012, Pitt and then-partner Angelina Jolie successfully teamed up with France's Perrin family to expand winemaking operations at Chateau Miraval in Provence. Pitt's champagne business, launched in 2020, evolved after he and Jolie separated.

Creation of the house and it's first "exclusively rosé" bottling involved a multi-year long project partnering Pitt, the Perrins and Champagne's highly respected Péters family.

"Champagne for me," he told PEOPLE in 2020, "conjures up feelings of celebration, quality, prestige, and luxury. But rosé Champagne is still relatively unknown. Backed by our success with Miraval in Provence, I wanted us to try to create the defining brand of rosé Champagne, focusing all our efforts on just this one color."

Working quietly with sixth generation grower and producer Rodolphe Péters , they chose to go the hard route employing the saignée technique. Favored by finer rosé makers, this process involves "bleeding" away a portion of pressed red wine before it becomes too deep in color. After numerous blending trials and tastings, as well as a three-year long fermentation process, the trio were satisfied with a 75% Chardonnnay, 25% Pinot noir blend achieving a "petal pink" colored champagne unlike any other.

The Petite Fleur packaging retains Pitt's selected color scheme — a pink label on a black glass bottle embossed with three Ps signifying Pitt, Perrin and Péters.

The name itself, one of Pitt's partners suggests, is meant to include a subtle homage to Sidney Bechet, the American jazz legend. Like Pitt, Bechet found a second home in France.

Petite's release further expands Pitt's wine and spirits portfolio. Production continues of Chateau Miraval's prized rosé and white vintages. The Gardener's Gin — the actor's dry-London-style Gin —has just become available in the US.

Sources tell PEOPLE there are other projects (including one very enticing collaboration) under consideration as well.

The entire family grid -- the x axis with the star and the kids' initials and the y with the tank resting on it -- was removed for this photo.  At least two of his bracelets were also removed in the process.  Did De'Longhi find the tattoos too distracting?  Brad would have had to consent to the edit.  He has the two bees -- ring and tattoo -- prominently visible.
Whatever the reason for the edit in the previous photo, it was not absolute.  The top of the vertical line and the initials are peeping through in the above photo with all of his bracelets intact.  





They like Lachlan Bailey. He also took her photos for Guerlain and her Instagram photo is part of that shoot.

De'Longhi




The storyline is he drives to visit an old friend in a small town in Provence who gives him arabica beans and asks him to deliver a letter to Emma.   After apparently helping the two get back together, he goes home and has a cappuccino with the beans his old friend gave him.

Somewhat like Ad Astra, he isn't exactly playing himself.  But the old man with a forearm tattoo very similar in size and placement to Brad's bee and with very similar bracelets is meant to be his alter ego with the importance he places on LOVE and his desire and effort at reconciliation.



The classic Lancia Flaminia GT convertible is similar to the classic Citroën DS convertible he drives in By the Sea.






The tank, erased in most close ups, is visible on his forearm.

If the old friend's forearm with the tattoo and bracelets was cropped, it could pass for Brad's.

The old friend has LOVE tattooed on his fingers -- not Amor or Amour even though he is apparently a Frenchman.   

The friend pulls out a letter that had been sitting in a drawer.  He hands Brad the letter to deliver to Emma

At the back of his hand he has the Sun and (photo below) a small Moon and a Star.

All or most of the tattoos were likely added just for the commercial.





The woman playing Emma was identified by DM as actress Karina Beuthe.



Happy for his friend with Emma's response.




His De'Longhi "home" has a guitar as a prop but does not look like anything in the Chateau Miraval estate.









Also, for this second chapter, the production has brought together critically acclaimed and award-winning names: director Bennett Miller, cinematographer Greig Fraser, composer Justin Hurwitz, and photographer Lachlan Bailey.

F1 Italian Grand Prix 2023

The report that Brad had decided to suspend production was a complete fabrication -- like most reports that have been printed about them in the Sun. Deadline's UK writer surely knew better but evidently wanted the clickbait.

It was never Brad's call to make. Only Apple can make that call. If Apple wants production to continue, it will continue. The strike does not cover non-Sag and non-WGA workers whose guilds are not on strike.

Aug.31 (GMM) Brad Pitt will be back in the Formula 1 paddock and grid this weekend at Monza.

That is despite the fact that filming for the forthcoming film about Formula 1, which began at Silverstone, had to pause for the Hollywood strike.

Lewis Hamilton, whose production company is involved with the Apple-backed project, says he is not worried that the strike could terminally damage the film.

“I know that Apple is fully behind us and wants us to go ahead,” said the seven time world champion. “Everyone in the team is fully focused on making the greatest movie we can – it’s just a matter of time.

“It’s definitely not the easiest time, I think, for actors around the world, but hopefully it’s something that will be resolved in the not-too-distant future.”

At a launch event for the Italian GP this week, Monza boss Giuseppe Redaelli confirmed that Brad Pitt will indeed be with others also involved in the filming of the movie this weekend at Monza.

When asked about the strike, Redaelli smiled to journalists: “It doesn’t mean you can’t meet Brad Pitt.”

Indeed, while the writers and actors – including Pitt – are unable to officially work, other people involved with the film are still able to continue their progress.

“We’re still able to do some filming,” Hamilton confirmed. “We can use stunt doubles and we still have editing and things we can do with the stuff we’ve already done.

“I’m not massively concerned (about the strike) just yet,” he added.

Tourtour, where the fan video was shot,  is just over an hour away from Miraval.  He evidently did not want the ad shot in Miraval.   He and Beuthe are acting from a script and taking direction.  He wants it clear they are acting and it is not "a day in the life of."

It has been widely reported that Brad will drive on the track during the F1 race weekend at Silverstone.  The race itself is July 9.  He may be on the track a day or two before.







Looks like the personal signet ring  P- A- B.

I don't recall seeing him wearing it alone before.   He has worn it with other rings -- during the Bullet Train promo he wore it with the bee ring.
