It's curious why the new bottles of Miraval rosé say "Mis en bouteille par Miraval" instead of "Mis en bouteille par Pitt & Perrin." 

After the 2021 sale to Yuri Shefler, they removed not just Jolie, but Pitt and Perrin as well.  They were all replaced with "Miraval" (not Miraval Provence or Château Miraval.) 

Marc Perrin had attributed Miraval rosé's success "to the Pitt-Jolie formula - the Perrin family - the Wine Spectator."  Two of those used to be on the bottle.

It is one of many hints that include Familles Perrin taking majority control of SAS Miraval Provence. They had 50.01% as of 2022.

They reveal a pattern of putting distance between themselves and the wine business.

In practical terms, it points to their divestment of the wine business.

The question is if and to what extent the Perrins will remain involved. And more importantly, why was this complicated and costly ruse necessary.
