Even TMZ couldn't help noting that the claim the $ came from GG defied credulity.  Global Green's latest Form 990 filed on 03/02/22 lists Net Assets or fund balances of $4M.  Four.  A charity focused on the environment, that only has $4M in assets is donating $20M to settle a lawsuit over the construction of homes it has no liability for?  It's also funny that Global Green had to use an old photo from Just Jared to place on its website.  Global Green raised $72K at a recent auction for dinner with Brad. 

Make it Right is reportedly defunct, it is no longer paying taxes or filing the required 990 tax forms. It has no money.  In 2017, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation gave it a $500K zero interest loan "to help fund costs in connection with the pursuit of legal actions related to construction deficits in homes built for communities in need."

I consider Angelina's JDH Office Ltd  as the counterpart to MIR.  Both were well-meaning and launched with much fanfare.  But in both instances, they relied on technical advice from people who fed them overly rosy projections.  Of the two, I feel JDH was the bigger folly. 

MIR's architects and contractors went too far off the grid in trying to make edgy, eco-friendly homes.  But with more careful oversight, Brad's idea could have worked.

It's not clear what JDH had a realistic chance of accomplishing once William Hague retired.  Angelina hired his former aides Helic and Dalton and they filled her head with grand ideas of what she could accomplish on the world political stage.  But despite their ubiquitous presence, their work in the socio-political arena seemed confined to being her speechwriters and cheerleaders. 

Angelina stopped making advances to JDH after 2017 when most of her previous advances were repaid.  It has since been dissolved.













Our sources tell us the "Bullet Train" star coordinated with Global Green, an environmental non-profit, convincing GG to pony up the cash to settle a lawsuit the org was not even named in.

Brad tells TMZ ... "I am incredibly grateful for Global Green’s willingness to step up and provide this important support for the Lower Ninth families. We collaborated in the early days post-Katrina and we are very fortunate to have Global Green's generous continuing commitment to help address the challenges around these homes and others in need.
