After celebrating his mother's 80th Birthday Thursday in Santa Barbara, Brad's family drove down to L.A. on Saturday and a niece, Sydney Pitt, shared a photo she took in the DeMille. From Sydney's other posts, this was strictly a family affair -- a multi-day family reunion to celebrate Jane Pitt's birthday with her children and their families. Sydney's photo at the DeMille brunch shows that Angelina was a big part of the celebrations and of the family. She is a member of Jane's immediate family obviously by virtue of being Brad's partner and acted as co-host with him. They were in the DeMille because it is her and Brad's home. And they are open to releasing the photo because things are back to normal between Brad and the kids. (It's why they are ready to have the experts testify in hearings.) Brad's family would not otherwise be in the DeMille for their only day in L.A. and want to reveal the fact to the public. So there would be no question about the significance or authorship of the photo, it had Sydney's sister Reagan in the frame. It would have been a very happy, week-long reunion for the whole family celebrating Jane's birthday and Brad's successful completion of the process.
Brad set up his house in Santa Barbara to accommodate the whole family. Between the DeMille and Briarcliff in L.A., there is even more room for everyone. Some of the cousins may be staying in Briarcliff but Brad's parents may be with them in the DeMille since that is where they held the birthday reunion's farewell brunch. The DeMille has a large separate guest house.
Sydney and other members of the family had just driven down from Santa Barbara earlier Saturday. The kids may have joined their cousins gokarting first in Briarcliff before going to the DeMille. Brad was in Watts Friday so he, Angelina and the kids would have arrived earlier that day to prepare for the rest of the family's arrival.
This is just the latest albeit the biggest of the many hints they've been dropping. Their clear message is: You should ignore whatever dance their legal teams are engaged in. From the day the DCFS became involved in their lives and Angelina was forced to file, their true story has had to remain hidden. Imposed filings have no bearing on what was really happening. This is what was really happening. Wait for them to break their silence and give their full story. That may be in October.
