/Film is debuting a new Maleficent: Mistress of Evil clip that will be available in full upon the film’s release on Digital and Blu-ray later this month. The clip digs into the VFX used in the film, overseen by VFX supervisor Gary Brozenich. The fantastical world of Maleficent seems at first to be composed entirely of CG shots, but producer Jeff Kirschenbaum describes how that is not the case.

Heading soon to home video, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
In our exclusive featurette, we get a peek behind the scenes as the talented crew works with the actors to fine-tune their movements. "We did it with a combination of different things," says Simon Crane, second unit director. That includes practical "flying" with cables. Angelina Jolie explains some of the challenges involved with those maneuvers: "You're clamped into it like you become a piece of the machine itself and you're working with … puppet masters." We also hear how the final scene of the movie echoes the final scene in Maleficent.
Watch the fascinating video below. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be available to watch on FandangoNow on December 31.
