Estimate was $18.5M. Again coming in close to $1M above estimates. A good 2nd weekend hold of - 47.5%, Sat. and Sun. down just 40.75%. It retains the #1 spot since Joker's actual is $19.24M. Bragging rights are very important for MMoE in its 2nd week to convince people it is worth seeing in theaters and make up for the ineffective prior marketing. It will take a few more days for MMoE to equal M's opening weekend. It may make up lost ground by having a longer run with less competition.
