After several outings wearing her star burst diamond ring, she switched back to wearing a band on her ring finger.
Maddox joined them for Hamilton. His only previous excursion out with Angelina was to NYU. He has made many trips to NYC and they lived in the NYC area while she filmed Salt. It is more than likely that he is familiar with Washington Square and probably even Columbia's campus. He didn't need to have his Mom in tow if the purpose was just a quick look at the school. He probably made rounds of U.S. schools last year even before he looked at a university in South Korea. He would have gone alone and unnoticed so he could check out the atmosphere for students. He will be 18 by Fall which is the age of most incoming freshmen. Like the rest of the prospective freshmen class, he would have already sent in his college applications. If he applied for early decision at NYU — if it was his first choice — he would have heard back from the university by Feb. 15. Most colleges send out their regular acceptance letters in March and April.
