He has refrained from publicly wearing any rings since September 2016. The necklace he started wearing at the start of the Summer effort in June 2018 was the first piece of jewelry he wore since the plane incident. He was first seen wearing a second, thicker necklace at the December 1, 2018 reception hosted by Amazon head Jeff Bezos for Beautiful Boy. The octagonal pendant hanging from one of the necklaces was first discernible on Dec. 14.
Over the past few weeks, Angelina has worn the gold bands constantly. Brad has worn the gold necklaces constantly.
Over the past few weeks, further normalization of relations between Brad and the kids has allowed them to be more relaxed and comfortable with public displays of their commitment to each other and to their family.
