Reaching new heights: Angelina Jolie shoots more of her own daring stunts as she resumes filming of Maleficent

She took a break from work to spend time with her children at the weekend, but today Angelina Jolie was back on the set of Maleficent.
Proving that she's quite the professional, the actress resumed filming by taking part in her own daring stunts.
The 37-year-old was spotted dangling from a crane dressed once again in the evil character's typical attire.

It's not the first time that Angelina has made the brave decision to do her own daring scenes, but today she seemed particularly confident.
Wearing the horned headdress, complete with prosthetic cheekbones and a long brown dress and matching cape, the brunette star kept her arms at her side as she flew in the wind.
In front of the actress was a giant wind machine, which was no doubt turned on to give a more dramatic feel to the scene.

Angelina clearly isn't afraid of heights and didn't even seem bothered about hanging in the air in between scenes.

There was some speculation over whether or not Angelina would actually be conducting her own stunts as a lookalike was spotted on set several times last month, but the Mr and Mrs Smith star is clearly insisting on doing them herself.
Angelina has kept her family nearby while filming the Disney adaptation, with some of her brood even visiting her on the set.

But last weekend she decided to take a proper break and whisked them away to the loaction of her directorial debut In The Land of Blood and Honey, which was filmed in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The actress travelled abroad as a special guest of the Sarajevo Film Festival; however, her fiancé Brad Pitt did not attend.
But no doubt he will be looking after the kids in the UK now that Angelina is back filming Maleficent.
