Manhattanhenge, July 2011
The sunset in Manhattan aligns perfectly with the East/West avenues. This July, about 100 photographers crowded a tiny overpass to capture the event. This picture was taken from Tudor City Place, looking west down 42nd Street past the Chrysler Building on the right, Grand Central Station further down, and Times Square waaaay at the end.Taken just before the sun completely came into view.
