Random Fuzzy
This always needs reposting because people can't resist clickbait -- making them and clicking on them:
People who know don't talk and people who talk don't know
When they've deemed it necessary to issue a statement to People, those have been curt, often little more than a phrase.
None of the tabloid articles that have predictably cropped up since her essay was posted have credible sounding "sources."  And that includes People which quoted a "source" who merely embellished her statement that she "spent the last two months in and out of surgeries with my eldest daughter" by adding "pajamas" and "pediatric."

Their inner circle is very tight and nothing gets out of that circle.  There were no leaks about the children's surgeries or their presence in a hospital, no leaks that Brad spent a year and a half with Alcoholics Anonymous or that Bradley Cooper played a role.  No confidant or friend in-the-know would ever reveal anything about them no matter how innocuous.  They guard all information zealously.
When friends like Marc Perrin, Frank Pollaro, Jacqueline Bisset, Elle Fanning, Loung Ung, Thomas Houseago, David Fincher have spoken about them, they've always limited it strictly to the topic at hand.  They never divulge extraneous information.  Even the normally loquacious Jon Voight is very circumspect when asked about them.  They all know better.
A dead giveaway that a purported "source" or "friend" is a phony is a meandering, chatty tell-all offering info on their thoughts, feelings and lives.  These mostly regurgitate publicly available info with the odd fabrication woven in.  It isn't just the bottom feeders guilty of printing lies, distortions and half truths.
Again, people who know don't talk and people who talk don't know -- they are selling smoke.  Only the hopelessly naive or delusional would buy what they're selling and believe that a member of their very small and loyal inner circle would ever reveal details about them to anyone outside their circle, least of all for public dissemination.

BBC
"The truth is that my children have seen things about themselves even from what's considered serious news people that are inaccurate.  So my children have a very odd sense of who's telling the truth and what the truth really is and what they actually believe or trust."
From the same interview
How do they learn about the outside world? What do you do at home?
"I think like most parents, we try our best to insert good stuff.  We can't control everything they're exposed to."
Direct quotes are the only ones worth your time.

Did Brad and Angelina Marry On Christmas Day? by splashnews

From Vanity Fair

By ELVIS BARUKCIC/AFP/Getty Images.
In case you rung in the new year by avoiding all entertainment-related news, a quick recap on breaking Hollywood developments: Hugh Hefner has married a woman 60 years his junior; Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West’s baby and is celebrating with suspected fro-yo photo ops; Russell Crowe is valiantly fielding criticism of his Les Misérables performance on Twitter; and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have legalized their reign as the world’s most genetically perfect couple with a wedding. About the latter item, which has mutated into hundreds of “Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Married?”–variant headlines on the Internet today . . .

The claim originates in a January 1 report from The Telegraph that trumpets: “Hollywood’s hottest couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, secretly tied the knot on Christmas Day in the Caribbean’s Turks and Caicos Islands.” What the article lacks in substantiation and sourcing, it makes up in descriptive detail about Donna Karan’s Parrot Cay estate where the rumored wedding allegedly happened.
“The Sanctuary”, a collection of three secluded villas, three open-air pavilions and four swimming pools, was built by Karan as a “cocoon of serenity” for her family following the death of her husband Stephan Weiss in 2001.

The entire estate, styled in a hybrid Indonesian/African style, sleeps 22, but Parrot Cay is dotted with similarly luxurious private residences, perfect for their entourage (one local told a journalist that the couple had been spotted with two nannies per child in tow), and wedding guests.
The rest of the piece is culled from data about the pair’s surprise Friday-the-13th engagement announcement along with a December 27 New York Post report about how the couple spent the holiday with their family at Donna Karan’s aforementioned estate. The Post sourced “a tropical spy” who alleged that the Pitt-Jolie family brought along “parents Jane and William Pitt, [Brad’s] brother Doug Pitt and sister Julie Neal Pitt, their spouses and their children.” The source adds an unusually specific head count to his tropical tattle: “There are 22 people in all in their group. No nannies have been seen.”

While it has not been confirmed whether Brad and Angelina were married or were simply spending time with their extended family—a rare pastime of the rich and famous on major holidays—they likely spent Christmas in comfort. The Parrot Cay facility is said to include an infinity pool, 360-degree views, an open-air screen room, and a spa house, which Karan told Vanity Fair this August is “like a private yoga retreat.”

Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie become "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" on Christmas Day?
The unconfirmed rumor du jour has Hollywood's No. 1 celebrity couple spiriting their brood off to the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean to swap "I dos." The Dec. 25 ceremony allegedly took place at designer Donna Karan's Parrot Cay estates, suggests the Telegraph, and those in attendance were said to have included Brad's parents Jane and William Pitt, and his brother Doug and sister Julie.
A representative for Pitt's management team did not return a phone call and an e-mail seeking comment Wednesday. And reports about the nuptials all include plenty of caveats including "maybe," and "possibly" and "might-have-but-might-not-have-so-don't-blame-us-if-it's-not true."
But IIT (If It's True), it means Pitt and Jolie managed to pull off the wedding of the century while simultaneously pulling a fast one over on the media.
And while we can't help but feel as if we were robbed of seeing the couple's sartorial choices for taking that long-awaited trip down the aisle, we can't begrudge them wanting to express their love without the annoying thump-thump-thump of a paparazzi helicopter hovering overhead.
The couple became involved while working on the 2005 action film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," and have spent the last seven years building a life together and raising a family of six. For awhile, Pitt said the couple would not tie the knot until gays and lesbians also had the right to marry. But that resolve softened over the years, he said, as the couple's children begged and pleaded for a wedding.
The pair announced their engagement in April, and have remained coy about a wedding date.
Pitt has been married once before, to Jennifer Aniston. And Jolie has been married twice before, to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

I think Angelina Jolie is in this bookstore

She does not look late 30s (or however old she's is).

Brad Pitt was dressed in black from head to toe as he arrived at LAX yesterday. He was traveling solo after a tropical getaway to Turks and Caicos with his family. Brad and Angelina Jolie reportedly spent the holidays with their kids at Donna Karan's private home in Parrot Cay. They were also joined by Brad's parents, Jane and William Pitt, his brother, Doug Pitt, and sister, Julie Neal Pitt, as well as their families. As the Jolie-Pitt crew wrapped up 2012 together, rumors swirled that Brad and Angelina had tied the knot during their stay on the secluded island. Although Brad was not wearing a ring upon his return, reports of their pending nuptials have been in full swing since Brad revealed the wedding would be "soon" during his promotional tour for Killing Them Softly.

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt got married in Turks & Caicos not even a mile away from my house while we were there & I didn't even know! 😭😩
Literally crying right now. Why didn't I know that they were there? I could've met my favorite actress ever! I LOVE ANGELINA JOLIE😩

Tabloid & Olympic Bits

It appears a Vuitton-sponsored party in honor of Muhammad Ali, the new LV spokesperson, is being held at the Victoria and Albert Museum to benefit Sports for Peace, a project supported by Nelson Mandela.  The Mirror no doubt sprinkled on a healthy dose of speculation especially about prospective invitees but given the principals involved, their active participation certainly sounds plausible.

Muhammad Ali stars in Louis Vuitton’s Core Values ad campaign

Muhammad Ali has been revealed as the new face of Louis Vuitton’s Core Values campaign, taking over from the one and only Miss Angelina Jolie.
Sure he isn’t as pretty as Ange, nor does he have her gorgeous full head of hair or Hollywood brood (although his grandson is equally as adorable as the Jolie-Pitt kids!), but we predict his influence will be just as great!
Akin to Angelina’s Louis Vuitton campaign which debuted this time last year, the heavyweight boxing champ’s ad campaign was also shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. No fancy location needed for the backdrop though… he’s just casually chillin’ in his house in Arizona. Jealous, much?!
“Muhammad Ali is the epitome of an outstanding personality – a true living legend in boxing and far beyond,” Yves Carcelle, a spokesperson for Louis Vuitton said in a statement.
“We are honoured that he agreed to be photographed for the Core Values campaign, and delighted with the way this beautiful portrait of the champion and his grandson captures the idea of transmission, which is of great significance to Louis Vuitton.”
Let’s all look at his grandson one more time and let out a collective “awwwww”!

Jolie Olympics

ANGELINA JOLIE and Brad Pitt are reportedly hosting one of the Olympics' most star-studded parties two days before the official opening ceremony on July 27, with guests expected to include Prince Harry, David and Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The private Sports For Peace event will take place at the Victoria & Albert in London, the museum has confirmed this morning, and will honour three-time world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali - Louis Vuitton's new campaign star -as well as the Olympics.  The soirée will begin with a reception held in the V&A's gardens, followed by a black tie dinner and ceremony in the museum's grand Raphael Gallery. The evening will raise funds for the Sports For Peace initiative, supported by Nelson Mandela and celebrating what it describes as "the intrinsic values of sport - fair play, tolerance, the Olympic ideal of freedom and international intercultural understanding."

Although the official guest list has not been confirmed by the event's organisers, Atom Events, the Daily Mirror reports that Pitt is organising a glamorous Olympic-themed after-party.

Forget the official Olympics opening ceremony, Brangelina's party will be the do to be seen at

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hosting their own opening ceremony party with only a gold standard of guest invited

The A-list are on their marks and getting set for an Olympics-themed Night At The Museum.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hosting their own opening ceremony party – two days before the official one – with only a gold standard of guest invited.

Princes William and Harry are expected to attend the charity do – to be staged at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.

Held in honour of boxing great Muhammad Ali, it is also set to feature the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Brad and Angelina – in the capital while she films new movie Maleficient – have roped in many of their A-list chums for the July 25 extravaganza.

Raising funds for the Sports For Peace initiative, the black tie do will see a champagne reception on the museum’s pristine lawns before a four-course banquet dinner.

With the bash finishing at 10pm, Brangelina are then hosting an uber-exclusive afterparty at their rented £20million townhouse.

Says a source: “Forget the official opening ceremony, this is the party to be at.

"Angelina is on official work duty but Brad is ensuring fun will be had after hours, and is very hands-on organising the booze-fuelled house party after.

“It’s going to be an Olympics-themed party, with huge buckets of home-made cocktails on offer.
"The who’s who of British and American celebrity will be in attendance, and invitees have been ordered not to take any photos from their phones.”

The couple have already bagged opening ceremony seats for London 2012 itself, which kicks off on July 27.

They have also been offered tickets for the most sought-after event of all – the men’s 100m final.
Bully for them...

Premier power couple and noted dynamic duo Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly throwing a bash of Olympian proportions two days before the 2012 London games begin.
Brangelina Hosting Greatest. Olympics. Party. Ever.
The Victoria and Albert Museum has confirmed that on July 25, Brangelina will host a private fundraising event for Nelson Mandela‘s “Sports for Peace” initiative, also honoring recent Louis Vuitton spokesmodel Muhammad Ali.
Expected guests include the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry, David and Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
A four-course, black tie dinner will follow a reception in the Victoria and Albert gardens, culminating in a ceremony in the museum’s Raphael Gallery. And after the party is the after party, handled by Mr. Jolie-Pitt.
A source told the UK’s Daily Mirror:
“Angelina is on official work duty but Brad is ensuring fun will be had after hours, and is very hands-on organising the booze-fuelled house party after. It’s going to be an Olympics-themed party, with huge buckets of home-made cocktails on offer. The who’s who of British and American celebrity will be in attendance, and invitees have been ordered not to take any photos from their phones.”
So does that mean we won’t be seeing any fuzzy pics of Angie and Kate Middleton shot-putting their diamond rings into the punch bowl? Sad face. [Vogue UK, Grazia Daily]
