Fan photos of Brad and Angie at the NYC premiere of ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’

Last night Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (and his parents) were in New York City for the premiere of In The Land Of Blood And Honey, which Jolie wrote and directed.
The love story takes place during the Bosnian War, and follows Danijel, a soldier fighting for the Serbs,who falls in love with Ajla, a Bosnian woman who’s a captive in the camp he oversees. Though Jolie insists she wrote the work independently, Croatian journalist Josip J. Knezevic recently filed suit against Jolie claiming she plagiarized his work to create the screenplay.

The lawsuit didn’t seem to bother Brad or Angelina last night as they were all smiles walking the red carpet, greeting waiting fans, and speaking to journalists outside last night’s premiere.
One of our contributors, Denise, was among the fans outside the theater and she sent us a few photos, as well as a very positive report:

I must say, security and whoever set it all up ended up being really good to the fans. First they had us on the left side of the tented carpet where the stars would enter, which was fine, but there was patches of soil and dirt that would have probably made them not come over. After a few minutes they moved us over to the other side right in front of the theater’s entrance so when they exited the tent the stars would be right there in front of us. Security also made sure that all the people who were waiting the longest ended up in the front when we all moved over. It’s nice when they take special care like that. Brad & Angelina posed for pictures on the carpet, but then he came through while she did interviews. Brad was really cool with everyone. He signed a lot and even posed for pictures with people. Angelina was really nice too. She signed a lot, but said she couldn’t lean in to pose with anyone. She seemed very gracious.

It’s nice to hear the world’s most famous couple are still pretty down to earth too. You can check out more of Denise’s photos below:
