The initial pap claim that he was leaving a hospital after being treated for viral meningitis was blatantly and shamelessly false: he emerged from the entrance to an ordinary office building, not a hospital, and meningitis is not treated in any way that requires anesthesia. A subsequent report claimed he visited a dentist's office and had his wisdom teeth extracted. It's an easy guess but it's telling that they could not name the dentist he supposedly visited.
He is wearing a gold band that looks very much like his wedding ring with an identical striated design. In some darker photos, the band's shadow makes it appear thicker and it could be a thicker version of the wedding bands he designed for their August, 2014 nuptials officiated by Judge Ouderkirk in Miraval. In the 2015 Peter Lindbergh photos with both of them, he wore a wide, plain band together with his wedding ring But as can be seen in the first three photos which are comparable in scale, the portion of the ring without a shadow (1st photo) is about the same size as the wedding ring (2nd and 3rd photos taken 2014).
So he is wearing a gold band on his right ring finger that is the same size, shape and design as his wedding ring. Just the latest of the increasingly unmistakable signs they’ve given that they are very close to completing the reunification process and with it, a return to their normal married and family life.
