Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Children Send Santa Claus Their Holiday Lists Early
Santa Claus can look forward to receiving something special himself this Christmas – six handcrafted letters from Angelina Jolie and her children from the heart of rural Kent, England.
Jolie and all six of her children – Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and 4-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – made a special visit to the village of Littlebourne in Kent to send Santa their Christmas letters on Friday. And locals were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the famous family.
"It was so cute. All the children sent messages to Father Christmas and were absolutely beautifully behaved," Littlebourne post office assistant Fiona Lindsay tells PEOPLE. "Just like any other kids in a sweet shop they were excited, but Angelina controlled them perfectly."
"It was lovely," she adds. "They were all very polite. They were just a bunch of gorgeous, happy kids."
Brad Pitt and Jolie have been staying in Kent while he films the final scenes for zombie thriller World War Z.
Staying in a luxury converted barn in the nearby village of Ickham called The Treasury (see photo below), the brood managed to keep a low profile for their entire week-plus stay, enjoying visits to nearby Howletts Wild Animal Park and Waterstones bookshop in Canterbury.
Pitt was also spotted taking Maddox to a screening of Skyfall at the Vue Cinema in Broadstairs – home of English writer Charles Dickens.
The family has since moved on from the area, but their visit has left an indelible mark on the locals in the sleepy English town.
"[Jolie] was so polite and a really nice person," Lindsay says. "I was quite shocked at first but Angelina was so lovely I soon relaxed."
"The children bought a packet of sweets each, plus a few toys and some magazines, and we ended up having a general chat about how they all were and what they were going to eat that night," she adds. "I suggested they pop over to the fish and chip shop across the road as it is a shame to come to England and not have some. I just hoped they liked them!"

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie in Kent: Full details of couple’s stay in luxury cottage
Chris Murphy Tuesday, November 13, 201211:05 AM
Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stayed in a stunning holiday cottage - complete with flatscreen 3D TV, pool table and grand piano - in a sleepy village near Canterbury earlier this month.
The superstars and their children were in Kent while Mr Pitt re-shot scenes from upcoming blockbuster zombie movie World War Z.
And while they stayed in a luxurious £3,000-a-week converted barn, they also went shopping in the local stores and visited nearby Howletts Wild Animal Park.
The post-apocolyptic movie, based on the best-selling book by Max Brooks, is due for release next summer. Scenes were shot at the Discovery Park in Sandwich - former home of US drug giant Pfizer - and a short drive from the village retreat.
But the company that rents exclusive holiday cottages in Kent says it only realised who its VIP guests were after the superstars had jetted back to the US.
They stayed at The Treasury in Ickham, a sumptuous barn conversion featuring “breath-taking huge rooms, floor to ceiling windows and beamed vaulted ceilings throughout”.
A spokeswoman at Canterbury-based rental firm Mulberry Cottages said: “We have only just found out they were staying with us.
“It was booked through a production company.”
And she joked: “They left it in good condition, so got their deposit back.”
Some reports suggested Mr Pitt popped along to nearby The Duke William pub, but owner Kate Coleman denies that happened.
She said: “They stayed in the village and we had their security stay with us.
“He didn’t make an appearance. He was filming all week.
“She [Ms Jolie] went to Littlebourne stores and to the post office to send cards from their children to Father Christmas.”
At the post office, shop assistant Fiona Lindsay said: “They came in on Friday.
“I was working in the shop at the time and I served her in the shop.
“She was so polite and a really nice person, I was quite shocked – she was so lovely.
“She bought the kids magazines and toys and one packet of sweets each. The children were also polite and called her Mum.
“They made a lot of noise at one point. There were two bodyguards outside and one inside. It was a surreal moment really.”
Ms Jolie is also said to have taken their six-strong brood Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox, to nearby Howletts in Bekesbourne.
A spokesman at the park was a little shy about their famous visitors, and said: “I’m afraid I’m going to have to give the ‘no comment’ answer to that one.”
The news was broken by entertainment company E! and quotes an insider saying: “The kids all took their fishing rods and bikes and spent a lot of time playing outside while Brad was shooting reshoots for World War Z.”
Scenes from the movie had been due to be shot at the site of the Morrisons supermarket near
Tunbridge Wells railway station last year. But news leaked and the production company, anxious fans could disrupt filming, changed their plans and instead filmed in Glasgow.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's English Country Cottage: See Where the Family Got Cozy in Kent

You didn't think Brangelina & Co. would hole up in just any old shack, did you?
Of course not! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie—along with kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox—have been staying in a luxurious, huge "cottage" in Ickham, Kent, near England's southeast coast, called The Treasury, a source tells E! News.
"It's a quintessential English cottage surrounded by rolling hills. Kent is known as the garden of England, so it's very pretty and very green," says a source. "It's the kind of place a normal British family would go on holiday to. It's very serene and private."
"The kids all took their fishing rods and bikes and spent a lot of time playing outside while Brad was shooting reshoots for World War Z," adds an insider.
Brad even mingled with the locals. A source tells E! News the dad of six "would also go drinking after work at The Duke William pub in Ickham."
As for Angie? She got into the local spirit, too, taking the kids on a day trip to Howletts Zoo, a endangered animal conservation park.
As of Monday, however, the Jolie-Pitts had moved on, undoubtedly to their next super-glam locale. Are we too old to be adopted?

There is also a report in a UK tab that they would attend the Chanel fashion show in Scotland next month. That is almost certainly wishful thinking inspired by Brad's Chanel No. 5 ad campaign.
