HOLLYWOOD superstar, Angelina Jolie made a fleeting visit to the Sunshine State yesterday in the hunt for locations for her upcoming film, Unbroken. With son, Pax, 10, and daughter, Shiloh, 7, by her side the Pitt-Jolie trio arrived at Brisbane Domestic Airport to a crowd of excited excited fans. “We are here scouting for the film,” Jolie said as she was ushered into a private room and out of the airport.
On Queensland soil for just five hours, the trio landed just after midday and were back on a plane to Sydney shortly after 5pm.
First off the Qantas flight, Angelina,dressed in her trademark head to toe black, wearing gold reflective aviator glasses and carrying a black handbag, made her one priority – her children – obvious as body guards held back media and the fans who were warned to respect their family’s space.

On arrival Jolie could be seen talking quietly to Pax,who carried his own backpack, and was holding tomboy Shiloh’s hand as their every move was filmed and photographed by the pack of fans. It is unknown where they went in their five-hour visit, but with filming rumoured for the Jolie directed production at Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast from late October to mid-November, they may be back sooN.
Fan Simonne Eckert said she was thrilled to have spotted her favourite movie star at the airport: “I was absolutely overwhelmed . . . she is the biggest celebrity I have ever seen,” she said.
