Taking a page from how Apple teases upgrades for the iPhone, Brad's PR announced a planned future update:
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon are 'Making Plans for the Future': 'They Have Something Special' (Exclusive Source)

Nothing else in his life, not in his work and certainly never in his relationships, has there ever been this gauche promotion.  What we have now is the PR effort employed when a story is a hard sell or when Kardashians and Real Housewives are craving attention.   The public is discerning.  Genuine private information is zealously guarded.

Shouldn't the something special happen before moving in?

What it never says is that the two of them are in love. "  What "Ines loves (is)  traveling."

"He's grateful that Ines loves traveling too and is able to join him on location for work," adds the source, noting his distance from his children is “still very difficult for him.” "She's a great person. She's laid back, low maintenance and no drama,"

"able to join him on location for work", "laid back, low maintenance and no drama" - could be the merits of a personal assistant.

Oh, and purely coincidentally, Wolfs has just started streaming on Apple TV+.  It opened to 643K, which is lower than other recent debuts. 

More tellingly, Wolfs' RT audience score is currently teetering between 49-50%. 


Days after release, it was no. 3 in the Apple TV+ Top Chart and has now dropped several more places.  It occupied the 4th slot in the Nielsen streaming movie ratings the weekend it started streaming. All the movies in front of it had been released weeks or months earlier. It was just ahead of Jailbreak: Love on the Run





It has become clear that Apple scuttled Wolfs' wide release because they knew the film was likely to underperform, joining a growing list for Apple.

Apple made the announcement before the film hit tracking charts' projected opening weekend numbers. Apple did not want to endure more scrutiny on their mishits. It also spared Brad and George from questions on their box office appeal. The statement on a sequel was clearly just a face-saving gesture.  Beyond the weak audience response that left little demand for a sequel, the film's ending does not suggest a sequel was even possible.  

Apple's run of underperforming/ underwhelming films continues.  They can well afford the financial losses, but the damage to their prestige and reputation is more costly.


What is an undeniable duo? A legendary chemistry? Did Cook really write this or is he testing Siri's ability to write hyperbole?  If so, Siri still needs work on that score.

In the face of the film's actual performance, Cook's tweet is a desperate effort to talk it up.   It is a fitting partner tweet to the Brad - Ines updates story.

The iPhone's most remarkable regular updates are usually centered on its camera.  For any Brad-Ines update to be remarkable, it has to be on the order of they're engaged! Or even better, they're married!

If they feel a need to rush another update to resuscitate Wolfs or for F1, the next step up would be that Ines is pregnant! And they plan to have lots of kids!  Six to be exact to replace the ones he's lost.  He'll be a new father changing diapers in his 70s.   


A large part of me wishes this tale were true.  I'd be more than happy to henceforth ignore all the reality TV star-level press releases that insult one's intelligence.  Good luck and goodbye.


Amal was not seen talking to Ines during the Venice premiere ovation even though they were seated next to each other.  For one thing, Amal was standing while Ines remained seated.   The world mirrors Amal's lack of interest. 

George Clooney's pre-Amal dates were very similar to Ines.  Younger women with little in common with him that could support a relationship.  The world shrugged off George's obvious arm candy.  The world shrugged again at Brad's.  These stories do nothing for him just as they did nothing for George. The public can separate the wheat from the chaff.

The People piece on their planned updates has only garnered 15K clicks on twitter.  The People piece on Angelina "moving beyond the past" and posted a day later has 18K , even though it obviously does not have anything to say.


It would be exciting to start a new chapter for Angelina and a new partner.  Their kids may want this too. 


Alas, I see the logical and empirical signs that this tale isn't true.  For now.
















Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon have their sights set on a future together.

A source close to the actor, 60, tells PEOPLE he and de Ramon "are serious about their relationship and making plans for the future."

"It started out as a fun and casual relationship, but after moving in together, they realized that they have something special," the source says of the couple, who began living together around February.

"He's grateful that Ines loves traveling too and is able to join him on location for work," adds the source, noting his distance from his children is “still very difficult for him.”

Pitt and de Ramon, 34, traveled together to Venice, Italy, at the end of August to attend the world premiere for Wolfs, which also marked the couple's red carpet debut. The film, co-starring Pitt's longtime friend George Clooney, is now available to stream on Apple TV+ and is playing in select theaters. Pitt and de Ramon joined George and Amal Clooney for a double date on the trip as well before returning stateside.
