Babylon after-party

As Babylon's top star and the biggest star in the room, all eyes and cameras were on Brad.  The scenario painted by People -  "the two mingling with guests, occasionally with their arms around each other." -- would have resulted in a flood of social media posts and photos including from the roving Getty photographer.  It is therefore very telling that no one in the big, packed premiere after-party witnessed and captured what People claimed in its report.

None of the photos of him at the after party show anyone who looks like Ines de Ramon nearby.







The tabloids linked him with Emily Ratajkowski even though they had never been seen or photographed together.  He decided to take a page out of their playbook.  He wants it out there that he's already dating someone and therefore he's not available -- presumably to keep other women and dating stories at bay.  There are many photos/selfies of women pressing themselves tightly against him.  Emily R's subsequent PDA photos with Pete Davidson were an effective statement of who she was and wasn't dating.  Brad wasn't willing to go that far.  Simply planting the story was enough.

Like his Bono concert appearance with Ines, he set this up leaving himself with plenty of room for denial.  It requires Ines' cooperation which shouldn't be difficult as "sources tell DailyMail.com that she is a member of his team." Emily on the other hand was not happy to be linked to him and quickly wanted it known that her real fleeting boyfriend was Davidson.

Brad Pitt had his girlfriend Ines de Ramon by his side Thursday night, at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Babylon.
The Oscar-winning actor, 58, was seen with the jewelry executive, 32, at the afterparty for the new film — the two mingling with guests, occasionally with their arms around each other.



a fashion industry source close to de Ramon tells PEOPLE that Pitt "is clearly very into her given he brought her to his premiere."
"Ines said that Brad is very sweet," the source says, noting that the pair "are planning to spend New Year's Eve together."
Meanwhile, a source close to Pitt tells PEOPLE the pair are "dating and happy," adding, "It's not serious yet but he's comfortable and they're having fun together."
A separate insider says Pitt "enjoys dating Ines" and they "hang out when they are not busy." The insider adds, "Ines is fun and social. They have a great time together. They do solo dates, but also group dates with friends."



Nothing close to the giddiness he displayed during Bullet Train's premieres.
