Hollywood film star Angelina Jolie came to fulfill a mission in Angkor resort to create a beekeeping program for women
Mrs. Angelina Jolie came to fulfill her mission at Angkor National Park from 20 to 21 February 2020 and attended the official opening ceremony of the Women for Bees program (Women for Bees) under cooperation with UNESCO and coordinated by the profession. Apsara national feast. The beekeeping program aims to help conserve Apis cerana and Apis dorsata bee species that originate in Angkor Park, promote sustainable beekeeping and empower women’s ability to earn income for their families and communities. Please note that Ms. Angelina Jolie is the founder of UNESCO-GUERLAIN “Women for bees” project sponsored by GUERLAIN.
In this mission, Mrs. Angelina Jolie also visited Angkor Wat temple. Showing significant presence in its mission now, this Hollywood star also helped promote Angkor resort to the world to a new level, especially during the COVID-19 crisis to prove Cambodia is a safe tourist destination.
