Maddox was patient and polite but knew to be guarded and evasive with prying questions including on whether he has an apartment. He is already an adult and could have spoken up if he wanted to, but he's following the family game plan and his response was his version of Brad's "We'll leave it at that." They're not ready to speak publicly yet. The usual sleazebags of course rushed to try to twist his noncommittal responses. This is his first ambush interview and he didn't do badly but he needs to get better. They'll likely give him tips on how to shut down intrusive paps more quickly in the future. His parents can't be happy that he was ambushed and followed on campus. It doesn't appear as though he has any security with him. He's likely never had to deal with a persistent pap on his own before. Other universities may have rules against paparazzi hounding famous students on their grounds.
