This is Nero, who is at the entrance of the ballroom. He's a German Shepherd who has been guarding the entrance to the Hilton for the last 6 years. This year he got upgraded to be inside because he is good with people. He's bomb sniffing but also greeting guests as they come in. pic.twitter.com/EFlXpxGdbx— Amy Kaufman (@AmyKinLA) January 7, 2019
Usually we can roam all over the ballroom. Midway through the show, security guards were posted on the bottom tier to ask guests to show their tickets for access. Aka we can no longer approach the big stars down there to ask questions.— Amy Kaufman (@AmyKinLA) January 7, 2019
