The first stipulation extending Judge Ouderkirk's appointment for another year was signed Dec. 20, 2017 -- just 11 days before the Dec 31, 2017 completion date of the original appointment that was signed Jan. 9, 2017. While Judge Ouderkirk signed his consent to continue to serve as Temporary Judge on Dec. 22, the Stipulation was only filed and the Order officially appointing the Judge was only signed by the court on Feb. 6, 2018 -- over a month after the completion date of the original appointment. Their attorneys signed a 2nd Stipulation extending the Judge's appointment to June 30, 2019 on Oct. 24, 2018 -- two months before the Dec. 31, 2018 completion date of the extension. It was filed in court and signed into an Order on Nov. 5. A 3rd S&O on the same was filed and signed into an Order on Nov. 28. I have not seen the actual Nov. 28 documents.
Judging from the dates that the original extension was signed and filed, timeliness was not a major concern. The timing of the public filing of the two latest S&Os, less than a month apart and far in advance of the completion dates, is likely only nominally about the Judge's appointment and more part of a broader public strategy. They are well aware that dates will be widely reported.
The Blast has been caught lying and making things up again. After the Case Summary originally listed the S&O as having been filed on Nov. 26, they claimed on the 27th to have seen the documents and that Angelina had filed it even though the listing clearly states "Filed by Respondent." The listing date was subsequently changed to Nov. 28, the date Judge Debre Weintraub signed the Order. There was nothing for anyone to see on Nov. 27 because the Stipulation and Order had not yet been officially filed and signed. It would not have been available for public view since it was still waiting for the Judge's review and signature. The Blast continues to add to the mountain of evidence that it is as dishonest as it is dumb. It has no credibility. What it prints are mostly lies and fabrications. Don't waste your time. Stop giving it clicks.
