eonline

The Queen of Hollywood has finally met the King of the Jungle.
While spending some vacation time in Australia with the family, Angelina Jolie and the kids opted to enjoy a viewing of The Lion King musical on Sunday at the Capitol Theater in Sydney, and even got to hang out with the cast after the show!
"A very special guest joined us for the Sunday matinee today- Angelina Jolie! Photo by James Morgan #lionkingau," the show's Facebook page wrote with a few snapshots of the occasion.
The photos showed Jolie posing with the entire cast, along with a picture of the A-lister speaking to the performers, who were all listening with bright eyes and big smiles. There's also an image of Angelina leaving a sweet note backstage. "The first celebrity to sign the signature wall backstage! 'Amazing show! Much love, Angelina Jolie' #lionkingau," the caption read.
When the family wasn't watching the Disney classic being brought to life on stage, they were engaging in some retail therapy.
Angelina, along with Vivienne, Knox, Zahara and Shiloh, went out toy shopping in Rose Bay, Sydney, over the weekend. The group were all casually dressed and even matching, predominately wearing white and black, and holding hands as the strolled the streets Down Under.

G'day Simba! Oscar winner Angelina Jolie posted with the Australian cast of The Lion King after seeing the show on December 8. The actress-director took her children to a matinee of the Elton John-Tim Rice musical at Sydney's Capitol Theatre while on a break from filming her latest directorial effort, Unbroken. It has been a historic year for The Lion King, which recently became the fourth longest-running show on Broadway and the first show to gross more than $1 billion. Take a tip from Jolie and catch a performance of this enduring hit, on Broadway, in Los Angeles or even Down Under.

IT was a day at the theatre for the Jolie-Pitt pride.
Angelina Jolie treated the kids to the stage musical version of Disney classic The Lion King, currently playing at Capitol Theatre.

The family attended a matinee performance and visited the cast and crew backstage afterwards, posing for a happy snap.

It was only the third preview performance of the production locally, which has been a worldwide hit, and Jolie was overheard saying that she "loved" the show - even writing on the company's signature wall.

Actress and singer Zoe Mthiyane, who plays Sarabi in the production, tweeted that she was "still floating" after her encounter with the A-lister.

The excursion comes after Jolie was joined by partner Brad Pitt last week, with the family going for a cruise on a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.

A few days after their Dec. 3 yacht excursion, the Jolie-Pitt family stepped out again in Australia, this time to see a production of The Lion King. And though most of the brood was in attendance, Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne stole the show rocking very similar outfits.

The A-List mom and her 5-year-old daughter both wore skinny dark jeans with black ballet flats to their theater outing. And though Vivienne opted for a lighter floral top to Angie's black blouse, the resemblance was striking.
