A movie scoop from The Sun?

It's from The Sun so this tidbit must be taken with the obligatory grains of salt. Although not mentioned by name, the article's source is apparently referring to Danny Boyle's currently filming Trance - "a thriller centered around a botched art heist that pits two men against one another, though they both develop unusual relationships with the same woman." It was set to start production in London this month and James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel have been confirmed to star.

Before Dawson signed on, Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana were reportedly also considered for the part. What should be immediately obvious is that Angelina is on a different level from these actresses (pay and talent-wise) and I can't imagine Boyle even dreaming of approaching her for what amounts to a supporting part in a small budget thriller. Angelina had expressed admiration for Slumdog and I am sure she would be intrigued about the chance to work with an Oscar award-winning director like him, but she already has several thrillers like Unforgiven, Code Name Sasha and Scarpetta on her list. If Boyle were doing another socio-political drama like Slumdog that would be another story.

Staying for Christmas ... Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie's neighbours in Richmond should get some amazing Christmas presents this year.

The minted Hollywood couple are extending their stay in the UK by six months after Angelina landed a movie role with Danny Boyle.

The actress has had secret meetings with the Oscar-winning director over the past two weeks in a London hotel for the thriller.

A source said: "Brad and Angelina enjoy living in the UK and have really taken to Richmond. When the opportunity came up for Angelina to work with Danny they were more than happy to stay put.

Their kids are enrolled in local schools and have settled in well. "They see it as their second home now."

Angelina has been spotted taking the kids to local attractions during their time south-west London.

Brad has been on location in the capital, Cornwall and Glasgow shooting World War Z – his new zombie horror flick.

Now he'll get the chance to explore the area, and Ange's favourite pottery painting shop, while his missus is working.

Doubt there's a Fight Club in Richmond though. Just a gentleman's duelling association.
