I thought a lot more highly of the duo Graham King hired to write the script for the Tomb Raider reboot -- Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby -- before I saw Cowboys and Aliens. A good deal of what was wrong with the movie had to do with the script. Studded with cliches and huge plot holes -- although Favreau may be more responsible for the latter. It was overall a silly, lazily put together film. It's the most glaring waste of a great assemblage of talent since, well, The Tourist. Fergus and Otsby also wrote Children of Men and Iron Man so perhaps this was just a hiccup.
