Marie Claire Arabic -Its name is appropriate
--------------------------------------------
One of the most important icons in the world of luxury French and one of the leading international leaders in the field of perfume and cosmetics. It is France's Guerlain which is still in the lead even after 190 years, despite the great competition it is experiencing.

If the Terracota powder from Guerlain is sold every 20 seconds, imagine the success of the new Mon Guerlain in March 2018.

We are on a date with more magic and magnificence in a fragrance that will astound women and captivate men's minds!

The name Angelina is also derived from the word "angel" in English, a word describing the spirit of this woman and her angelic personality and has already proved to be an angel on earth.

Over time, the image of this contemporary star evolves and grows more and more attractive both in terms of her professional life and her social and human activities.

Her image came to mind when I met her at the Guerlain House for an interview with Marie Claire, the only Arab magazine to be invited. Jolie, with elegance, charm, beauty and unmatched brilliance!

She chose a light beige view and a very fine reception to receive her charm throughout the room. I saw many aspects, I saw the mother and housewife and saw a woman determined on the one hand but very soft on the other. It seemed to me to be an embodiment of the empowerment of contemporary women. There is no doubt that Angelina stands out and shines in the field of cinema, but in return she sets herself apart and works with all her might in human activities.

She is the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and has more than 50 humanitarian missions registered in more than 10 third world countries. When Guerlain chose her new ambassador, she did not list multiple names to choose the most appropriate, but put only one name: Angelina Jolie. So the choice was natural, as if this relationship that brings together this exceptional woman is like a mother's relationship with her daughter.  In this context Angelina's "angelic" aspect also appears in her personal life, not only in her career. Of the six children, three were from different countries. Family members speak more than 10 languages under one roof. In our interview with Jolie, she told me how interested she was in educating her children and about their desire to share experiences of life and real feelings to form an idea of reality as well as theories. She took her son Maddox, for example, to Cambodia, where she was filming her film to get to know his native country and also accompany her second son to practice his hobby of photography on the ground. She is making great efforts to support her children and teach them outside the classical framework to experience life on the ground as well, just as her son saw us in our interview with Guerlain, who was training to become a perfume expert at the house. Finally, Angelina Jolie's education reflects on her children the message of peace that she carries and tries to spread throughout the world.

  1. Fussy, footage from a fan at Whole Foods Market yesterday shows Angelina, Knox and Zahara leaving the store. Looks like some photographers saw them outside as you can see flashes, but she has security there.

  2. Chester Bennington’s Widow Reveals ‘Embarrassing’ Brad Pitt Story
    ----------------------------------------------------------
Late Linkin Park and Stone Temple Pilots singer Chester Bennington’s widow Talinda was recently interviewed by Zane Lowe on Apple Music‘s Beats 1. She told a funny story about Chester and Brad Pitt, it is in the PT 4 quote seen in the recap below.

ZANE: Chester was so honest in his music about these things he was going through. Did he feel he could be honest outside of his music, do you think as well? Was he open?
TALINDA: Yes. He was absolutely an open book, a little too much so at times. He was too much too soon guy. I’ll never forget, we met Brad Pitt and we were having lunch with him and I was getting coffee and getting my husbands coffee prepared how he likes it. Chester’s like, babe? I look at him and he’s like I’m telling him the Bon Jovi story and the Bon Jovi story is like the funniest story because I’m the biggest Bon Jovi fan ever since I was like 11 and about 10 years ago Chester arranged an opportunity for me to meet him and I was so nervous that I walked over and I pretended like I was on the phone and Chester’s like yeah this is the wife, Talinda, and I couldn’t be bothered. I just kind of glanced up, was like hey. So long story short, Jon Bon Jovi just assumed that Chester really was a super fan. Chester walks out of his trailer wearing all like Jon’s jersey and indoor football arenas swag and you know it was just so funny. So it’s like the most embarrassing story and here he was telling it to Brad Pitt, of all people and they had just met. We just got our coffee and I looked at him and I’m like why are you telling him that story. And he’s just like just laughing. And I just look at Mr. Pitt or Brad, I mean I don’t know what the heck to call him at this point, the guy knows the most embarrassing story you know. So he’s just that guy.

  3. Fussy its along article only posted part where it mentions Angelina's School.

Escaping Kakuma: How women find freedom through soccer in a refugee camp
Inside the Angelina Jolie Primary School for girls in Kakuma, Kenya, the third-largest refugee camp in the world
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kakuma may be a progressive place for refugee women relative to their countries of origin. The UNHCR, the camp’s governing body, stresses gender equality and enables other NGOs to implement programs that develop women professionally and spiritually. The LWF oversees Kakuma’s refugee services and recreation, including women’s sports, for example. The LWF has created a version of the Premier League for the men of Kakuma, which just concluded its second season, and is set to debut a women’s version this year. Those programs are too few and underfunded, however. Space is a problem in a place like Kakuma, where stick and aluminum walls are usually all that separates one home from another. There’s no privacy, and almost no space for women to feel safe at all times and free to address the ways that life in Kakuma is fraught for them. Female genital mutilation is still a common and ghastly practice. Rape epidemics take place with alarming frequency.

Angelina Jolie Primary School stands apart from Kakuma’s hatchet-shaped cartography. It was opened in 2005 — funded by the actress and Special Envoy to the UNHCR — as a boarding school for bright or at-risk girls. There, they can be nurtured in a safer environment, away from the problems within Kakuma’s traditional borders. The girls are given a more focused education — the classrooms are much smaller than in the coed schools that pack upwards of a 100 students in one room — and they perform, on average, much better than the rest of Kakuma on Kenya’s standardized testing for secondary schools.Angelina Jolie also gives girls access to athletics they might not otherwise have had. The school has performed well in inter-school competition against Turkana County teams. Gop Dhieu, 16, and Nyayiel Nnading, 17, are two of the school’s best athletes. Gop is an accomplished 800-meter runner and long jumper, as well as soccer midfielder. Nyayiel is a swimmer, volleyball player, and defender. If they hadn’t been accepted to Angelina Jolie, they may not have competed.

“Some of them they like playing football, but it's hard for them to get that opportunity simply because they are in the community,” Gop says. “They don't get time to go to the field. But for us, the field, is just here in the school, we go and play any time we feel like.”

  6. Queen, Attenborough doc tops Cineflix slate
    ------------------------------------------
A documentary featuring Queen Elizabeth II and natural history broadcaster Sir David Attenborough discussing conservation is headlining Cineflix Rights’ MipTV slate.

The Queen’s Green Planet (1×60’) was originally produced by ITN Productions for UK commercial broadcaster ITV and follows the Queen’s ambitious initiative to plant a global network of protected forests.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Jane Treays and with the meeting between the Queen and Attenborough at its heart, the doc also includes access to other members of the royal family as well as environmental campaigner and Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie.

It joins the extensive factual slate being offered by UK-based Cineflix Rights at MipTV in Cannes next month.

Also new to its line-up are PBS series Sinking Cities (4×60’) from Canada-based Cineflix Productions, which looks at plans being made by local authorities, first responders, scientists and engineers to cope with climate change.

Expecting (17×30’), from Up Entertainment for US cablenet UP TV, is also slated. The series focuses on couples who film their own journey through pregnancy milestones without producers or camera crews.

Channel 4’s My Family & the Galapagos (3×60’), fronted by biologist and conservationist Monty Don, is also available. The show is produced by Seadog TV and Film Productions and Motion Content Group.

High-profile murder cases are under the spotlight in Cineflix Productions’ Secrets of the Morgue (13×60’), while PBS’s Going to War (1×60’), from Vulcan Productions, looks at a soldier’s experience through the eyes of marine Karl Marlantes and Restrepo director Sebastien Hunger.
