Security and access

  • Each registration is nominative and valid for one person.
  • Access to the UN is via the Pregny Gate on Avenue de la paix.
  • Photo identification and printed copy of confirmation email required for security access.
  • Nominative badge required for access to Assembly Hall and seating.
  • Badges will be available for collection from Maison de la Paix, Building 1, between 11:00 and 15:00 on 13, 14 and 15 March. Remaining badges will be available for collection at the Pregny Gate on 15 March from 16:00.
  • Those without UN passes should arrive early: Security access and Doors to the Assembly Hall are open from 16:00
  • To expedite security screening, please do not bring bags.
  • No parking available for non-accredited vehicles; the closest bus stop is “Appia”

Filming

This event will be filmed and will be streamed live on UN TV and UNHCR’s Facebook page.

Seating

All invitees to be seated by 17:50. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Language

The language of the event is English; simultaneous interpretation from English to French only, will be available.
