On the afternoon of February 18, 2017, Mr. Sam Al Environment Minister met with Ms. Angie Jolie (Angelina Jolie) MJP chief on cooperation to optimize the protection and conservation of natural resources in the region use more Lout as well as to improve the living conditions of local community. To ensure the effective and sustainable management of natural resources, the talks had agreed to continue improving cooperation mechanisms and framework required the two sides to jointly design and implement a surveillance plan to prevent and suppress all forms of natural resource offenses. Meanwhile, the talks also agreed to push to improve the livelihoods of communities in the region through the development of agricultural livelihoods life and eco-tourism to reduce its reliance solely on natural resources as well as to transform the attitudes of the local community living in harmony with the environment and natural resources.
It looks like Arminka Helic and Chloe Dalton sat in the audience during the press con and were joined by a man who was with Brad during his Allied tour (below). Helic was also with her during her meeting with the Minister of the Environment (above).
We have seen almost the entire family in Siem Reap. Less one.
I wrote previously that this would be the perfect opportunity for Brad to show that his relationship with his children especially Maddox has healed. Some readers have argued that Brad's appearance would overshadow the film and the message Angelina wishes to convey would be lost in the furor -- which is certainly a strong argument against it. But perhaps the most critical argument is that this is a very big day for Luong Ung in front of her King and countrymen and they do not want to take any of the spotlight away from her and her story on this day. This film - in Khmer with a strictly Cambodian cast about genocide -- is a very hard sell outside of Cambodia. Netflix will not be spending much to market this and I felt that any publicity that makes more people around the world aware of it is good publicity. But such concerns would obviously not outweigh their sense of propriety and loyalty to Luong.

Angelina Jolie is back in the spotlight.
The actress stepped out for a press conference ahead of the world premiere of her new film First They Killed My Father on Saturday in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The film will be presented in the ancient Angkor Wat temple complex. Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni, Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk and senior government officials are expected to attend.
This marks the 41-year-old Oscar winner’s first public appearance since she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in September 2016. She visited a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan on Sept. 9, where she urged United Nations leaders to find an end to the Syrian conflict.
During the press conference for the film, Jolie said she thinks of Cambodia “like a second home,” adding, “Maddox is happy to be back in his country.”
First They Killed My Father is based on the autobiography of the same name by Cambodian human-rights activist Loung Ung, a friend of Jolie’s. The memoir tells the true story of the devastation inflicted on Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge communist party in the 1970s.
“I read Loung’s book many years ago,” Jolie said. “It helped to open my eyes to what was going on the world.”
She added, “I wanted to tell the story to through the eyes of the child’s point of view, the love of a family, to show the beauty of the country and understand what Maddox’s parents may have gone through.”
In order to create an accurate portrait of the war, Jolie insisted on using only Cambodian actors, and the language spoken throughout is their native Khmer. The actors themselves are the survivors and children of the survivors of the genocide. Jolie, Ung and the producers hoped the experience of making the film would be cathartic for those who participated.

Back in her groove. Angelina Jolie stepped out in Siem Reap, Cambodia, on Saturday, February 18, ahead of her First They Killed My Father premiere, and brought all six of children along with her for the special event.
Jolie, 41, kept her look modest in a knee-length black dress with lace detailing, with minimal makeup and her hair worn down in loose waves. Her six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8 — similarly dressed up for the fete, with all of the children in monochromatic suits and outfits.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, the Maleficent actress likened Cambodia to “a second home” and noted that “Maddox is happy to be back in his country.” (She adopted her eldest son in 2002.)
“The children are very close to the children who are in the film and, in fact, many of them are best friends,” she added. “So, they’re simply happy to be back with their friends.”
“I read Loung’s book many years ago,” Jolie told reporters. “It helped to open my eyes to what was going on in the world. I wanted to tell the story through the eyes of the child’s point of view, the love of a family, to show the beauty of the country and understand what Maddox’s parents may have gone through.”
Jolie’s Saturday appearance marks one of her first public appearances since her headline-making split from her husband, Brad Pitt, last September, though the UNHCR special envoy has been vocal about her concerns regarding the Syrian refugee crisis in recent months.
