Brad Pitt Has Finally Seen His Kids for First Time in Weeks Since Angelina Jolie Split

Together at last. Brad Pitt finally reunited with some of his children on Saturday, October 8, the first time he has seen any of them since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce last month, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.

A monitor was present, sources tell Us, adding that both parties had agreed to the conditions prior to the visit. Per sources, not all of the kids were present for the reunion. (Reports of Pitt reuniting with the kids before last weekend, the sources say, are simply inaccurate.)

As Us Weekly previously reported, Pitt, 52, and Jolie, 41, reached an agreement on a parenting plan that would give the Maleficent actress temporary physical custody of the children even though the pair continue to share legal custody.

Under the agreement, the couple’s six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — will reside with their mom in a California residence. Pitt is permitted to visit with the children, but only under the supervision of a therapist, according to multiple sources. (A Jolie source adds that future visits may also be monitored.)

Pitt is currently under investigation by the FBI and the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services after drinking and allegedly becoming physical with one of his children while the family was aboard a private jet on September 14. Jolie filed for divorce on Monday, September 19, after two years of marriage and 12 years together; Pitt has yet to file his own papers in response.
The couple’s plan will be put into effect until October 20, when the social workers assigned to the case will take into consideration the therapist’s recommendations and Pitt’s drug test results and discuss next steps.

“People from both sides hope that the two sides will reach a longer-term agreement on their own,” an insider told Us. “The hope is that this period of time will lead them to be able to resolve things without the involvement of the courts.”

  1. “People from both sides hope that the two sides will reach a longer-term agreement on their own,” an insider told Us. “The hope is that this period of time will lead them to be able to resolve things without the involvement of the courts.”...In other words Us has NO CLUE whats happening LOL.I'm glad JP's have locked down all the false speculations.

  2. I would think that Angie would be present on the visit(s)too. I bet that they already started family therapy too. I wonder if it would be easer for Maddox or the other kids that didn`t want to be part of the visit if their dad was not so passive and apologized to them in private as well in public. Brad has a lot of work to do and I don`t know how long it will take for the family to forgive him. I just hope he is willing to fight for his family and that he`s not in denial still.

    1. I agree. Brad may have only realized the gravity of his actions when some of the children declined to meet with him. While drunk he would have had a warped sense of reality. Now he knows he has to work harder to earn their forgiveness and win back their trust. I think things may move along faster from this point.

    2. Well, I don't know but I would take this news with a grain of salt. I am one of those who are hoping for a reconciliation and I always like your analysis Fussy, but we have to remember this is Us Weekly, so it is very much possible they are speculating just like People did last week. And even if it's true, we don't know which ones of the kids didn't attend the visit and, most importantly, why they did so.

  3. Interesting so first People claimed the exclusive last week of him visiting the kids. Then In Touch claimed their exclusive yesterday morning and now today US Mag has a similar exclusive. Hopefully the kids have seen their dad and the family is on to move on.

  4. I just would like to know what it`s going through Brad`s mind right now. Everything that`s happening is because of him. I`m sure he`s remorseful and hopefully in private trying his best to fix things. But from the public eye I just sense apathy from him. I think his wife and children deserve a public apology from him along side everything he is doing in private.
