1. It’s unlikely Pitt and Jolie have been speaking.
In the wake of child abuse allegations leveled against Pitt, the Department of Children and Family Services reportedly implemented a child safety plan. ET confirms that, given the safety plan, it's unlikely the 52-year-old star has been in contact with Jolie directly, as any communication would likely need to go through both parties' attorneys.

2. The federal investigation remains open.
ET confirms that the federal criminal investigation into child abuse claims is still ongoing, despite some reports to the contrary, and that the FBI has not yet interviewed members of the family during the course of its investigation. The FBI tells ET that it is "continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued."

3. Jolie’s brother is not the caretaker of the kids.
Regarding tabloid reports that Jolie's brother, James Haven, has been serving as a caretaker for the pair's six children, ET has learned the claims aren't true. Give the tumultuous nature of the divorce, many friends and family are contributing their time to help and visit with the kids, including Haven, but claims that he's the children's caretaker are inaccurate. He's simply one of many people close to the family who are assisting during this difficult time.

4. It is still unclear if Pitt has seen the kids.
A recent report that Pitt saw his children last week, for the first time since Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19, is incorrect. However, it's still unclear if the actor has seen his children at all, or if he is likely to anytime soon.

  1. ET just want to paint the worse scenery possible and that Brad and Angie are not speaking. Of course they all are in deep therapy - individual therapy, family therapy and probably even couple therapy. The agreement ends next week so they are all doing this steps now. I`ve never seem the press to want a divorce so badly. It`s so sad because there`s 6 minor children involve so you would think people would want that they resolve their issues and reconcile.

  2. ET like TMZ, Daily Mail,People and other trash tabloids are making stuff as they go along not a single person knows the facts and media still cant keep up with their own planted lies, which is most funny to see LOL.I pray the family is able to reconnect and reconcile and sort out their differences and come out united and stronger together as ever, that would make the media alone have a major tsunami meltdown LOL.

  3. Fiorella, sadly media are not interested in reconciliation they want to see a messy divorces and unhappy kids and a broken family so that they can churn out BS articles about them and make money off someones misery.
