Oftentimes when film stars appear out and about promoting their latest projects we see them sporting runway looks paired with equally dazzling accessories—leave it, however, to a certain member of Hollywood’s A-list to dispense with convention and focus instead on simple, elegant design. Angelina Jolie has taken to sporting online-only label Everlane, which offers straight-from-the-factory products without the retail markup. Appearing last Friday on the Today show, Jolie wore an oversize yet streamlined snow-white crew-neck sweater from Everlane as a dress and complemented the look with metallic peep-toes, an altogether subtle, stylish ensemble that kept the focus on her latest epic, Unbroken.
It echoed her appearance on the show a month prior, when she displayed her high-low sartorial sensibilities in a black tunic top from the label. And still earlier in the year she was spotted out with Everlane’s first foray into bags, the Petra Market tote, which, thanks largely to Jolie, quickly became wait-listed and has since prompted an entire Petra line on the site.
