Angelina Jolie’s storied evolution from wild child to industry A-student has resulted in her calling all her own shots, from becoming only the second major actress-director in Hollywood after Jodie Foster (Jolie's Unbroken premieres Dec. 25) to taping a chicken pox video that provides one of the more charming (and authentic) excuses for not being able to promote it. “I feel you can do whatever you want in this life. So long as you don’t hurt anybody, you can do anything,” she tells THR.
