Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt depart Sydney aboard private jet following whirlwind visit Down Under

By Erin Van Der Meer and Laura Evans for Daily Mail Australia

Angelina Jolie's love affair with the land Down Under has come to an end for now, with the actress departing the country aboard a private jet with husband Brad Pitt on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hollywood power couple boarded an aircraft at Sydney airport after a whirlwind visit to promote the film, which saw hundreds of fans descend on a closed Market Street to see the stars in the flesh.

The stunning duo, who married in August after being together for nearly a decade, looked to have only a small amount of luggage - at least small compared to what most celebrities check in.

Three black suitcases, a metallic case, two carry-on bags and some paper packages possibly carrying purchases from their time in Sydney were set on the tarmac before being loaded onto the plane by ground staff. <
